Speed up opening of Excel file

Hi,

I have an Excel file that is 2.4 MB in size. It was created in Excel 2003.
Each time I open the file, it takes quite a bit of time. Is there a way to
speed up the process. When I've sent the file to others, they also complain
about the amount of time it takes to open the file. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
