Task Pane toolbar deletion/removal
 

I am using Microsoft Office 2003 Standard Edition and was wondering if ANYONE
has figured out how to delete the task pane permanently so that it does not
show up when you start Excel. Please let me know. Thank you.

Have you looked at Tools/ Options/ View/ Startup task pane ?
