IS THIS POSSIBLE????

I have a cell called "CURBAL" I want to get the data of the cell on the LEFT
of that one.

My formula now is

=IF($E13=0,"Delete Me",F13)

The location of E13 changes everytime (also of course CURBAL) so I have to
manually change it.
But as I said I know the data its ALWAYS on the left of the cell called CURBAL

Any idea?

ps The row where CURBAL is it's always the same one. So maybe a combination
of "sumif" and "if"... is that possible?

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do but if you type in

=OFFSET(CURBAL,0,-1,1,1)

you will get the value in the one cell to the left of the cell named CURBAL.

thank you Andrea, but is not working
how is going to look for the word "CURBAL". Do I have to specify the row
where CURBAL is at least?

supposed this example:

a b c d
x curbal
2 x

I want a formula to get number 2 as a result. Of course remember that not
always is on column C, but is always one cell left to Curbal.
Thank you so much anyway for your help.
