Hello,
We have one machine here at the office that has this problem. When the user enters the number 2006 in a cell, it automatically switches to 2007. It only happens on this one computer, even files open from this computer do not have this behaivor. Excel 2003 SP2 and all patches. An example: "text" formatted cell 2006 -- Hit enter-- becomes 2007 If you enter any other number it does not auto increment it. No Macros running that I can see, no files in XLSTART. Any ideas? |

Check to see if there's an AutoCorrect setting causing this.
