Can I add an autoupdate file name insert to the document body?
I'm trying to add a cover page that automatically includes the file name. In
the header/footer this can be done by typing &[File]. How can I do this in the body of the document. I don't want to have to change the document every week as I change the document name. |

Jeni,
You could make a Template of the form you are using and in the cell that you want the date "=now()". Then when the data is added, "Save As" and change the file extention to"*.xls" with the dateas the file name.(Example 10_20_06.xls for October 20, 2006) HTH "Jeni" wrote: I'm trying to add a cover page that automatically includes the file name.
