how do I transfer excel files from my pocket pc to my home comput.

I can synchronise my outlook files etc from my pocket pc (sat nav) to my
desktop computer, but I use my pocket pc to record my mileages on Pocket
Excel, and want to copy my mileages file onto my desktop but keep getting a
"violation" error.

Is there anyway round this?
