Excel font formats
It would be extremely helpful to have more font formatting options available
in Excel. I would like to be able to highlight text within a cell and not a whole cell, edit character spacing, have small caps and several other options available in other Office applications. This is not a question, it is a suggestion, so I don't expect replies. It would just be nice to have a few more perquisites for those of us who have chosen to use Microsoft products. I am currently using Excel 2002. |
If you want MS to hear your suggestion, this isn't the place to voice it.
Search the MS web site for the right location. On Thu, 3 Feb 2005 17:23:01 -0800, Angie Kay <Angie wrote: It would be extremely helpful to have more font formatting options available in Excel. Unfortunately, the new communities page says this *is* the place for
suggestions...implying that Softies are lurking. Don't know whether that's true or not. One of the choices in the "select new post" dropdown at, for example http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...x?dg=microsoft ..public.excel.misc&lang=en&cr=US is "Suggestion for Microsoft". Another is "General Comment". Trust MS to once again coopt and hose up a perfectly good existing environment and standards... Thanks for the correction and the update on "standards", JE.
