Can't format cell
 

Trying to reformat a cell on an Excel worksheet, but the Format cell window
won't open up. It won't appear on any option (from right-click menu, from the
Format -- Cell menu, by clicking on the borders icons, nothing). An adjacent
cell behaves normally, but this group of cells doesn't. File is not
read-only, and it is not protected. No error message appears; nothing happens
at all. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It has some kind of protection on it. Maybe the other cells work because
they have been excepted from the protection.

So Tools, Protection, Unprotect Sheet doesn't help?
