How do I stop calculations?
Ack! Make it stop! I don't want to trash this spreadsheet just to stop a
massive calculation routine that I didn't mean to start. How do I break the calculations? -- Financial Management Analyst |

How do I stop calculations?
You could set calculation to manual and just calculate what you desire.

How do I stop calculations?
I've asked something to put in subtotals in a workbook with only reasonable
length 3 columns of data in it, I've got another spreadsheet which is rather large open but am set to manual update. The whole of excel is now frozen & my laptop's pumping out some serious hot air. If I ctrl+alt+delete & end task, I will lose data I really don't want to lose. I've tried the Ctrl + Shift + Break, it's not working. Anything else I can do?
