Cursor issues

This is probably more a Windows question than Excel, but here goes anyway. :)

Actiion: Go to Explore, select directory (file folder), selec t Excel file
to open . . .

When I do this, the cursor goes to the middle of the list. As in . . . In
Explore, I go to an Explor Files directory. Click it. Let say there are 2
pages of files. My cursor and the vertical scroll bar on the right opens in
the middle of the list.

Now I open an Excel file. Cursor is in middle, scroll bar (virtical) is in
the middle of the form, up and down.

What I'd like is for the cursor to always be positioned at the top of a
list, and scroll bar always positioned at top of document when opening, etc.

Any ideas? :)
