Total Items Per Hour

Good afternoon,

I am having a problem when it comes to getting a total of items per hour
here is an example:
A B C D E F
FL Fld Fl Itms Fld Itms Fl Per Hr Fld Per Hr
39,496 390,556 29:33:34 292:17:59 1,336.16 1336.149063

in columns E & F are where I am using the formula
in column E: =A3/C3/24 and I'm getting the total 1,336 and it should be
between around 300-500 items
in column F: =B3/D3/24 and I'm getting the total 1336 and this actually is
about right. my concern is I'm getting the same total for both fields.

I appreciate your help.

Your numbers would appear to be correct. I looked at the ratios between B
and A and D and C and they are both close, since those ratios are close
(Fld/FL = 9.888495 and Fld Itms/Fl Itms = 9.888539) If your counts and
elapsed times are correct, then you've done the math right. I presume the
29: and 292: values are hours? Right?

Is there any other reason you would expect the rate per hour to fluctuate
greatly over either a short or a long period of time - such as having
shut-down times for maintenance or such?

First let me say thank you for you reply and help.

Yes, it does refer to hours.
and the time used has taken into account down time and PM time.

history has shown in the past certain trends in regards to the number so for
it
to jump so much is what alarmed me.

Total Items Per Hour

A B C D E F G
1 FL Items Fold Items Flat Time Fold Time Total Time Fl Per Hr Fold Per Hr
2 39,496 390,556 29:33:34 292:17:59 321:51:33 1,336 1,336
3
4 90,959 0 284:34:08 0:00:00 284:34:08 320 #DIV/00!
5
6 0 143,151 0:00:00 71:36:46 71:36:46 #DIV/0! 1,999

The above is a further example of what Ive been trying to do. As you will
be able to see
When I do my calculations and it only involves one or the other (Flat or
Fold) my totals are coming out normal. Its only when I have combined totals
(Flat and Folds) to calculate. (see entire line 2)

I've also have a time format question:
for example column E1 has the time 292:17:59 but there is another format
that will turn 292 hours into this 17:59.0 and I don't understand how 292
hours can change into 17 hours.
