Excel 2007 is available in beta, but be cautious about how you use a beta.

2003 supports 65536 rows.

Excel 2007, out now in beta from allows 1,000,000

Perhaps released to the public in 2007 middle or thereabouts.

I think the plan now is January 2007 for general availability.
