ODBC connection failed.
 

Hi,
I'm trying to create a pivot table report using a query already established
in MS-Access. I keep getting an error message and am not sure of how to
resolve it. I am using the pivot table and pivot chart wizard. Here is what
I'm doing: 1.) Choose "External data source". 2.) Click on "Get Data".
3.) Select "MS Access Database*". 4.) I select the database and query I
want to use and get a message from Microsoft query stating "ODBC connection
to ... failed." 5.) I don't want to add any more filters and sorts because
the query already has that. 6.) I leave "Return data to microsoft office
excel" selected. 7.) After I click finish I get a message from Microsoft
Query stating "ODBC connection to ... failed. How can I get this to work?
