I am a special education teacher who has been given an excel template to keep
my student's data on. I have two problems with the template: 1) The individual sheet tabs are hard to read. The font color is almost exactly the same as the white background. It is a very light gray. The file has many individual worksheets so that it is almost guess work to find the actual sheet I am looking for. How do I change the font color of the little tabs at the bottom of the template? I know how to do it in a cell....but for whatever reason I can't make the text in the little tab be black so that I can read it. 2) The template is set up so that each student has three linked worksheets. Sheet 1 is demographic data, Sheet 2 is raw data, Sheet 3 is a chart displaying performance....and then the sequence begins again for the next student How can I duplicate the 3 inidvidual sheets so that they remain linked? I have made new worksheets and I have cut & pasted the formulas but the new sheets are not linked when I do so. I don't know the meaning of the individual formulas to fix them. I just want to add more students without creating a brand new file for each student. Sorry for being a noob........ Thanx for any help. Shawn |

Shawn -
What version of Excel are you using? If it is 2003, you can position the cursor over the tab, right click, and choose a dark tab color. This should make the tabs easier to read. I tried to change the font color of the tabs - couldn't do it either! #2 - have you considered putting all the date on one sheet for each student? That would sure make things easier per student, and easier to duplicate for new students.
