I cannot change the font in Excel no matter what I do
Hi There,
I know this seems completely basic, but I cannot change the font from Arial in Excel. I have tried using every toolbar and menu known to man, but nothing works. What is weird though, is that I can select a cell, for example, and choose a different font (Times New Roman) and Excel tells me the font has been changed, but appearance-wise it is still Arial. And, just for the sake of life and the world in general, how about a campaign against sans-serif fonts? Thanks |

What's your zoom level set for?
When you zoom to 100% does it look like it's using the font that you specified? If yes, then maybe this post by Debra Dalgleish will help: You can change a registry setting to prevent this from happening (make a backup copy of the registry first): 1. From the Start button, choose Run 2. Type regedit then click OK 3. Click the + sign to the left of HKEY_CURRENT_USER 4. Open Software, Microsoft, Office, 9.0, Excel, Options 5. Choose EditNewDWORD Value 6. Type the name for the DWORD: FontSub 7. Press Enter to complete the renaming 8. Choose EditModify 9. Type 0 as the value, select Decimal, and click OK 10. Close the Registry Editor dewey wrote: Hi There, I know this seems completely basic, but I cannot change the font from Arial in Excel.
