Am not getting "send" option to email Excel sheet

I am attempting to email an Excel sheet. My textbook shows that a "send this
sheet" box should appear. I do not have that. I have MSN Hotmail for email.
Could this be making this difference? I have also experienced difficulty in
emailing Word documents. Can you help?
