How do I turn off the automatic Format Painter?
This stupid little "PaintBrush" keeps popping up and blocking the cells I am
trying to work with. It is more annoying than the "automatic" mulitple copy clipboard because it actually sits on top of what I am working with, blocking it from my view. How do I turn it OFF??? Thanks |
How do I turn off the automatic Format Painter?
Hi
Try pressing ESC. or giving a single click on the format painter icon. Clicking it once, invokes it for a single occurrence, and once you have "painted" the cells, it switches off. Double clicking, cause it to "stick" to carry out "painting of multiple disparate range, and in that case it is switched off as outlined above. -- Regards Roger Govier "Rev Anderson" <Rev wrote in message ... Uncheck "show paste options button" I also have "show insert options button" unchecked.
