logarithmic x-axis with a maximum between 100 and 1000

I have office 2000, Excel. I would like to do a diagram with a logarithmic
x-axis with a maximum between 100 and 1000. Is that possible or do I have to
select an axis maximum that are 10x?

Noss,

AFAIK, you are limited to complete decades when using the logarithmic scale on the Y axis.

Hi,

If you use a xy-scatter chart you can enable the log x-axis.

Have a look at Tushar Mehta's flexible log scale for information on
setting non 10x axis values.
