When "cutting" the CONTENTS of a cell do not cut the BOARDERS!!!

When cutting the CONTENTS of a cell in Excel I do not want the BOARDERS to be
cut....!!!! this drives me nuts! The only way to protect the boarders is to
create a "safety" rom/column of cells between the data cells and the boarder
cells which is not always possible.. Also the PATTERN from one cell should
not be cut when you cut and paste.. .I am aware of the PASTE SPECIAL feature,
however this should be an option to set as default! I bet if you took a
curvey most people would NOT want the boarder and pattern to be cut every
time the do a cut-and-paste without having to do a paste special....

Cut means cut...
You could use a macro to copy/paste and then delete or clearcontents of the
source cell
