How do I make colors appear correctly when linking excel to pub?
Hi, when I link an excel table to a publisher document (for a client report),
the number that are in red in the excel spread sheet appear red in the publisher document, until I print it. Then, the number appear black. Why? Thank you -- any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Jim, thanks for your reply. My problem is that a "negative" in excel appears
as red in a table. I link this table to a publisher doc, and the negative numbers in the table continue to 'look' red on the screen. However, when I PRINT the publisher document, all of the numbers, including those in the negative, print black. So, if a client looks at this table in the printed publisher report, he will see (-$1,074) in black instead of red. It only appears red on the screen. Other colors in the publisher report (header, etc) are printing in color just fine. Any ideas? Thanks again. Kris "Jim Thomlinson" wrote: In Excel there is a print setting for Black and White... Kris:
Try changing your default printer. I had mine on FAX and it was the reason my colors would not work. If you have AdobeAcrobat and can print into Adobe file, that would be a good default option. Good Luck. "Kris" wrote: Jim, thanks for your reply. My problem is that a "negative" in excel appears as red in a table.
