Merging of cells while in shared workbook
If you go to Help and type in "shared" and then choose
" Features that are unavailable in shared workbooks" You will get a list of what you can and cannot do in a shared workbook and some workaround methods. Merge cells cannot be used and no workaround. Drawings can be viewed only and no workaround. Suggest you check the list from help. Quite comprehensive.
