vlookup function does not work when range is hidden
 

I created a vlookup function and it works when the range is not hidden. When
I hide the range, the vlookup function does not work.

Error message? Incorrect result? Nothing?

Which range is hidden?

The VLOOKUP table range?

Is the lookup value cell not hidden?

Is the VLOOKUP formula cell not hidden?

Hiding the table should not create a problem.

Hiding the table is a common practice.
