option to keep zero at begining of number
I want to enter ID numbers but to keep the numbers compatible with other

option to keep zero at begining of number
You could format as text if you wanted or go 'format'...'cells'....'custom'
and in the little window above 'Type:' enter a number of zeros that is one more than your longest id number.
