we got a company to design a calculator in excel, everything works and
does what it should do, how ever, there are some issues with the
design.

all the graphics change in value. for example, when I check the logos
proportion, it views on every computer differently. sometimes it's
squashed horizontaly, sometime more somtimes less.

They design it on windows, we view it on mac, but send it on to our
client who has windows as well.

is this a common problem, are there some work arrounds or is this just
a fact we have to live with?

It may have something to do with the screen resolution the user has
chosen for the monitor, or simply a "translation" difference between
Windows and Mac. Has the software been vetted by your user acceptance
people? What do the developers have to say?
