Does a format in Excel change when another user opens the file?
I have a formatted cell in Excel ($ 600.66) which appears as 600 2/3 when
another user opens the file on their PC. The same version of Excel is used on both computers. The spreadsheet is locked to prevent users from changing the formats. Is there a way to resolve the problem and so that number is formatted consistently no matter who the user is? |

What happens when the user opens a different excel file? Do the fractions
also appear? If so, that would suggest that there is a setting he/she needs to change. -- Brevity is the soul of wit.
