Window maximizing annoyance
I have been experiencing on and off problems with windows (most recently in
Word) appearing as if they have 'slipped' down the screen - and this distance from the top is not consistant either. I've tried maximizing, minimizing, double clicking, etc and nothing fixes this. At best it occasionally corrects when i restart my pc. Needless to say that is annoying in itself. HOW DO I FIX OR PREVENT THIS?!!! |

I had similar problems a few years ago - it turned out that my video
drivers were corrupted, and one thing led to another and I needed a new motherboard in the end. Check the PC out with your local hadware shop. Hope this helps. Thanks for the insight, but I'm thinking this isn't my exact problem. I
believe it related to how the windows get a 'memory'. like when you close out a reduced window, the next time it opens reduced in the same spot. for some reason, mine has a mind of its own!
