Default my printing comes out in dots instead of lines.

When printing a schedule in Excel everything is made up of dots, instead of
lines.

Try these, in order:

1) Check the print quality: set it to Normal, instead of Draft;

2) Update your printer's driver.

Default my printing comes out in dots instead of lines.

Did you create the schedule? If not, select the bordered cells and try
changing the format of border.
Format Cells Border Line Style (change to line at bottom instead of
dots at top.
