Here are the standard options:
Format the cells as Zip Codes..... From the Excel main menu: <format<cells<number tab Category: Special Type: (select the appropriate zip code format) OR Format the cells as Text.... From the Excel main menu: <format<cells<number tab Category: Text OR Start each zip code entry with an apostrophe Example: '00123 which will display as 00123 Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP "jacktar" wrote: I can't get Excel to accept "0" as the first zip code digit; i.e., 01933 turns into 1933.
