Excel 2007 - Autofilter different behaviour
Hello,
there seems to be a change in the behaviour of the AutoFilter feature in Excel 2007. I could click the down arrow and select one of the entires in the list and sheet was filtered to this selected entry in the old version. In 2007 all the entries are pre-selected by default. So if I want to to what I want, I have to clear the (Select All) checkbox first and then click the checbox by the item I want to filter. This is one extra operation. Do you know if it is possible to change this behaviour? Ideally it would be perfect if the Select All checkbox won't be pre-selected. Thank you. Dalibor |
Excel 2007 - Autofilter different behaviour
You cannot change how Excel behaves as far as I know. The new interface is
better overall as it makes selecting by multiple criteria much easier. You'll appreciate that when you need that ability. The one extra click is not such a big deal. You'll get used to it in no time. -- Jim "Dalibor Jelinek" wrote in message ... | Hello, | there seems to be a change in the behaviour of the AutoFilter | feature in Excel 2007.
