Default Excel 2003-how copy tab w/o file refs?

Thanks for any help.
I need to copy a tab back to a file I copied out of by mistake. When I copy
back, there are the ='C:\Folder\[File name.xls\Tab name'!A1, and I am using
global search and replace to remove, but there's alot, is there a way to copy
with out the references?
Thanks.

Yes, if the sheet has already been copied back to the original workbook, save
the workbook and then select the 'Links' option on the Edit menu. Then click
on the 'Change Source' button and browse to and select the original workbook.
That should point all the formulas back to the same workbook where they
started.

You could have avoided having to do this if you had MOVED the sheet back to
the original workbook rather than copied it, but if you have already started
editing the references in the linked formulas it's probably better to use the
approach I gave above.
