i have linked 2 workbooks by mistake, how do i undo this

I was trying to save a particular tab and saved the whole workbook by
mistake, I deleted the new workbook, but there is now a link between the 2,
how do I undo this? It is sensitive info so I cannot have anyone alter it

Not suer I understand the question.

How do you have a link between two workbooks if you deleted one of them?
Did you really delete it or is it just sitting in your recycle bin?

You can try EditLinksBreak links.

Note: this will change any linked formulas to values.
