Copying single cell takes 15-20 seconds
 
Using XP and excel. When selecting a single cell for copy "Ctrl C", I have
the hour glass for 15-20 seconds. The copy succceeds however. A recent
problem to which I cannot understand. It may also be a Dell laptop issue but
I suspect Excel first.

Hi Jason,

is the WS too big ? with a lot of calculations ?

try to change calculation to manual

How much RAM do you have and which version of Excel are you using?
