![]() Hi guys, I have 23 k records The colum are names like Mr John Smith, Brad Brown and Mrs Sarah Jones When i use text to colums it obviously puts Colum A Mr Brad Mrs Colum B John Brown Sarah Colum C Smith Jones The Mr and Mrs are in the same colum as Brad which would be incorrect as the Mr and Mrs are salutations and Brad is a first name Anyway of putting them in the correct colums?? Thanks!! -- blander ------------------------------------------------------------------------ blander's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=36486 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=571327 |

![]() So i've just thought of finding all the Mr, Mrs etc and getting rid of them as a last resort.. (even though i would like to keep them) except when you do a find and replace, it replaces them with a space... so when you do the text to colums it puts the space in its own colum.. so the names are all over the place... -- blander ------------------------------------------------------------------------ blander's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=36486 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=571327 |
