I upgraded from Office 2000 to Office Pro 2003 a few days ago, and have
made the unfortunate discovery that the invoice template in Excel no longer uses the INVDB.XLS database. What is more interesting is that all the config data such as location of INVDB.XLS is as it was before I upgraded. I called Microsoft and the guy I talked to had never heard of it. This was not a heartening discovery. Is this database irrevocably toast, or has somebody found a way to make this feature work in Excel 2003? Tom -- remove .spoo to reply by email |

It's not a template if it's called XLS, templates have the XLT extension
I'd suggest you go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/B...9-8FEAE6D75298 and search or search by name like invoice -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom Excel 95 - Excel 2007 Northwest Excel Solutions www.nwexcelsolutions.com (Remove ^^ from email) "Tom Hall" wrote in message ... The XLS file is called - by Excel -- the "template database". I made no claim that invoice.xlt was anything other than a template. What I was referring to was the "template database" maintained by the template -- i..e., INVDB.XLS -- which is NOT a template :-) Tom -- remove .spoo to reply by email |
