Desktop Shortcut to Specific Sheet in Excel
 

Hi,

I am a novice excel user. I have a question on how to create a
shortcut on the desktop that links to a specific sheet in excel. The
excel file has 10 different sheets within it. I have googled and
searched for the past two hours without any results. I did find some
other post about this topic but the answers were sort of vague (I'm a
true beginner). It was recommended to create a macro but that still
did not work. I have an excel document with 10 different sheets. I
want to be able to create different shortcuts on each users desktop
pointing to a specific sheet. For example, the shortcut on ITs
computer will point to the IT sheet, Hr shortcut will point to Hr
sheet. Thanks in advance for any input!

I do not know of a shortcut paremeter that will allow what you want.
However, if you save the file with the correct sheet open, it will always
open to that sheet, unless it is saved with a different sheet open.
