Help a Newbie! Using GETPIVOTDATA formula!

Hi all
Can anyone help please??

I have a pivot table in one sheet and a summary sheet in an excel
workbook.

In my summary sheet I want to select anything in column D, and display
it on my summary sheet.

Am looking at GETPIVOTDATA formula but cant seem to fathom it out.

Can anyone explain to me how it works and what is the best suggestion?

Many thanks
:) :)

Help a Newbie! Using GETPIVOTDATA formula!

See Debra Dalgleish's instructions:
http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot06.html

You can also use direct references to cells in the pivot table.

Hope this helps,

Hutch
