Sharing and protecting sections of a worksheet.
I have a workbook that I need other users to update. There is data I would
like to protect so I have unlocked the cells I want data entered into and left the other cells locked. I would also like multiple users to be able to access the file at the same time. When I used the share and protect function however I discovered that the locked files could be overwritten so the "protection" part of share and protect was not working properly. What am I doing wrong? |

As far as I can tell, you need to protect the sheet first and then do
the share and protect. Pete Ekazakoff wrote: I have a workbook that I need other users to update.
