Macro won't work due to Security Setting?
I am trying to figure out a way to have a box w/ text appear every time
a spreadsheet is opened. I am distributing this spreadsheet to a lot of people. They will not need to enter data but I want to provide clarifying information. I did this with a macro and it worked great except that all of the computers in my company have their securtiy setting at high so the macro won't work. Is there a way around this or another way to make some form of a text box appear without it being a macro? Thank you! |

japc90, best to stay with the original post, how about adding a sheet with
your "clarifying information" on it, save the workbook with that sheet active and they will see it when the workbook is opened, or add a text box to your sheet with your info in it. -- Paul B Always backup your data before trying something new Please post any response to the newsgroups so others can benefit from it Feedback on answers is always appreciated! Thanks again. It is always the simplest answers that elude me.
