"Document not saved"
I am getting this error message in Excel, when trying to save one of my
documents. Not on all documents. What could be causing this? |
"Document not saved"
Are you saving to a disk that's full (or close to full)--like a floppy or a USB
thumb drive? Are you saving to a network drive that's disconnected? Are you saving to a location that's marked readonly? Can you do a File|SaveAs and point at your local harddrive and save successfully? Miss Margaret wrote: I am getting this error message in Excel, when trying to save one of my documents. "Document not saved"
Hi Dave,
Disk is half empty (the internal hard drive) Other excel docs save ok on it. Not read only. Worked fine last month Save As did not help. The title bar showed the new name, but it still returned the same error message and I was unable to find it in the folder I was saving to, or by using the Search function. So I am stumped. I did try saving it as an XML spreadsheet, and that seemed to work, but I am not sure what the difference is between XML and a regular Workbook is. So I am still scared to close it and reopen. I don't have another guess.
Maybe someone else will jump in or maybe you can search google? Miss Margaret wrote: Hi Dave, Disk is half empty (the internal hard drive) Other excel docs save ok on it. Not read only.
