Is it even possible?!? Importing web data..
Assistance greatly needed. I have to enter every U.S. zip code into an address locater http://www.riccar.com/where-to-buy/vacuums/. (Look ups vacuum dealers). Currently I have an excel spread sheet with all the zip codes for one state listed in column A. In column B, I manually enter the dealer names which the locator search returns. I input the address in Column C. Can a web query or macro be designed to read the zip codes in Column A and populate the dealer and addresses in Column B and C.? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks, frustrated in NJ -- kenny_roswell ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kenny_roswell's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=37116 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=568477 |

Sounds like you would have to know how the address in question correlates to
the geographic area that the zip code covers. From your description, I'm not sure you have that piece of info. Example: if the address is 255 W 94th St., NY, NY the only way you could associate it with a zip code is to know which zip code encompasses the physical location of that building. I know you can enter one address at a time at usps.gov and have the zip returned. "kenny_roswell" wrote: Assistance greatly needed. That sounds like a perfect job for a script writing software that we
use called Foxtrot. Check out Foxtrotone.com kenny_roswell wrote: Assistance greatly needed. I have to enter every U.S. zip code into an address locater http://www.riccar.com/where-to-buy/vacuums/.
