calculate total service time in excel
I am a School Nurse creating a template for a clinic log. I am trying to
capture total service time in minutes when there is a range of time from 1 to 120 or more minutes and the times are typed in an "hourminute" format (eg: 710). I guess I'm a little slow on the uptake as I'm having trouble figuring out the proper formula. This is a template that has time in, grade, name, complaint, disposition, time out, and service time fields and is to be e-mailed to faculty daily for attendance purposes. The span of times for the clinic is 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. I have Microsoft XP operating system. Because of privacy concerns, we cannot send the complaint with the log, but need it for statistical purposes. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks so much |
