using autofilter in a shared protected workbook excel 2000?
 

in excel 2000 i cant use auto filters... when i protect the worksheet... i
tried using the code MS supplied yet when the workbook is shared you cant set
the protection and turn on user interface protection only€¦ so
enableautofilters = true is useless €¦ Please help how can I turn auto filters
on when the shared workbook is protected ????

If you share the workbook and protect the worksheet, then you can't change the
protection of that worksheet.

You're gonna have to choose--share the workbook, protect the worksheet or allow
autofiltering.
