hello community

can some one assistance in this ?

in excel, I can used the numeric keypad to display the currency symbol, say,
I wanted to display the Euro Currency symbol,

I only need to Press and Hold the "Alt" + pressing the number 0128 from the
numberic keypad

can I use the similar action if I am using a LapTop?

thanks community for being helpful

Different laptops have different ways to perform this.
See if you can find an alternate set of numbers *anywhere* on your keyboard.

They might even *share* keys with some of the letters.

If you find any, enable them with the <Numlock key.
(Look for "Num" on the XL status bar.)

Then see if you have a <Fn key.

Then try <Alt <Fn *and* those alternate numbers.

Post back if you *do* get this to work.

I'd like to know your laptop model and what you did to get it to work.
