year autolist

I have a minor problem and could use some help. I am making a excel
database for my collections and i need to start with the year 1652 up
to the present. I tried the data validation with no sucess. I will be
putting the years down the A column starting with 1652. It would take
me way to long to type every year is there some function or
autofunction that will work.

best, dan

Gord Dibben

year autolist

Type 1652 into A1 and 1653 into A2.

Select both cells and drag/copy down as far as you wish.

The numbers will increment one at a time.

Note: these would not be real dates, just numbers.
