year autolist
I have a minor problem and could use some help. I am making a excel database for my collections and i need to start with the year 1652 up to the present. I tried the data validation with no sucess. I will be putting the years down the A column starting with 1652. It would take me way to long to type every year is there some function or autofunction that will work. best, dan -- dan2ginny ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dan2ginny's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=36964 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=566864 |
year autolist
Type 1652 into A1 and 1653 into A2.
Select both cells and drag/copy down as far as you wish. The numbers will increment one at a time. Note: these would not be real dates, just numbers.
