I have a reference in my workbook which copies from cells in sheet2 to
cells in sheet1. Is there anyway (preferably without a macro!) that
will also copy the formats of the cell without doing it manually every
time. I.e it just copies the cell exactly each time.

I think you're choices will be to do it manually or do it via a macro.
