Red Text in Formula Bar
A co-worker accidentally changed the color of the text in her formula bar to
red - didn't know how she had done it and couldn't find any way to change this back to black, despite closing and re-opening Excel and looking through all the Tools - Options selections. It did, however, reset to black after her computer was turned off overnight. Any idea what keystrokes might have turned the formula bar to red (independent of cell text format)? |
Red Text in Formula Bar
Is the same true for other MS office applications? If so, it might be a setting in control panel. Have a look at Display-appearance. -- mrice Research Scientist with many years of spreadsheet development experience ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrice's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=10931 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=566130 |
Red Text in Formula Bar
Thanks. It is possible to turn the Formula Bar text red using Display, but
this also turns all the other message text red, which isn't what was happening ... only the formula bar was red. Still looking...... "mrice" wrote: Is the same true for other MS office applications?
