Error: "Too many different cell formats"
 

Hi guys, my company has a very comprehensive database which uses excel.
I am not sure if it is going to exceed the number of cells limited to
excel but I have been getting this error message: "Too many different
cell formats" whenever I tried to merge cell, insert new cell, create
borders etc.

Anyone encountered this before?? Pls advise.

Excel, for whatever reason, accumulates all cell formats, and they can only
be removed one by one!

ASAP-Utilities provides an utility to remove excessive formats. This tool
(with many more useful items, can be down loaded free from:

When you downloaded ASAP, you will find the Macro "Remove all unused styles
on every sheet" under the heading "Sheets".
