When lookup just won't do . . .
Hey guys,
What would you suggest I do in a situation where I want to see if a bank check has cashed from a list in a spreadsheet. If you use lookup or vlookup it just returns the value of the above cell if it doesn't find the correct check. I'm sure this is a very easy answer, just has me stumped at the moment. Thank you! -- Though daily learning, I LOVE EXCEL! Jennifer |
Hi Jennifer,
The last (fourth) argument of VLOOKUP, which you probably omitted, should be FALSE. -- Kind Regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "Jennifer" wrote in message ...
