automatic updating
 

I have a large spreadsheet which is ordered

dept - cat - spend

The number of rows for each department can vary, depending on when the
data is updated. I am looking for a way to transfer just the data for
particualr departments into a new sheet, simple linking won't work as
the number of rows alters by department.
Sorry if that sounds a bit vague.
Any suggestions?
