Is there any way that I can set it up so that when I open a new worksheet, or
insert one into an existing workbook, that the gridlines are turned off. |

Thanks, but I was thinking rather of a way to make "gridlines off" the
default. I generally don't use them and turn them off about 90% of the time. A few options....an icon on your favorite toolbar is nice for those workbooks
